We Are Non- Governmental Organization with Non-Profit Certification as well

YFEED Foundation is a youth-led Non-Governmental Entity aimed at solving social problems through a youth lens. Primary work of this sector includes Environmental Protection, Indigenous Rights, Human Rights, Youth Empowerment, and selective SDGs as well. Currently, the organization is directly working in partnership with local municipalities to uptake projects on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Human Rights, and Food Security at the local level. Our organization works for the empowerment of youth via various stakeholders nationally and internationally. Our latest focus remains on solid partnerships with Local Governance Units (LGUs) to fulfill our mission and vision.

The Youth For Environment Education And Development Foundation (YFEED Foundation) is our organization of young individuals in Nepal, specifically advancing youth rights, including those of Indigenous youth. We aim to empower Indigenous youth by raising awareness and educating them on various issues confronting their communities. We facilitate the exchange of information and experiences among youth, multiple groups, and sectors, and organize both Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth by providing platforms for their participation in local, national, regional, and international processes.

Our primary mission is to strengthen youth voices for inclusive democracy and dialogue with policymakers and stakeholders to ensure better youth rights, jobs, and opportunities. We enable Indigenous youth and communities to claim and exercise their human rights, including the privilege against poverty, by educating, organizing, and mobilizing primary right holders in human rights-promoting actions, research and evidence-based policy advocacy, providing complementary services, economic empowerment, and promoting socially responsible inclusive growth and equitable development.

We Are A Strong Team

We also focus on sensitizing children, adolescents, and Indigenous youth to protect and promote their rights, emphasizing their empowerment and involvement in social programs to bring lasting peace and prosperity to Nepal. Our vision is to build a model society where every youth, adolescent, and child, including young Indigenous peoples, lives a dignified life without discrimination, exploitation, and injustice. We aim to develop a fair and just society by strengthening the capacity of community members, promoting social justice, securing human rights, and establishing lasting peace. The YFEED Foundation envisions a just, democratic, and prosperous Nepal where all youth, including Indigenous youth, realize their fundamental human rights and freedoms.
